Mori Abe joined Mars in 2026 and is based in Singapore.
Prior to joining Mars, he spent over sixteen years at MUFG Bank, including a decade in private capital banking, with a particular focus on leveraged finance and LP investments in private equity funds across Japan and Europe.
Most recently, he led strategic growth initiatives in London, including the launch of a European mid-market direct lending platform and an infrastructure debt fund partnership with a European private credit manager.
He holds a Master of Science in Finance from London Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Commerce from Keio University.
